Teach children the meaning of saving with a game. This is the goal of Intesa Sanpaolo, which on the occasion of World Savings Day has promoted a week of events under the title The Art of Savings, to which is added the launch of XME dindi, a piggy bank aimed at children which will be available in December in all Group branches.

XME dindi interacts with the child and, thanks to the coin and/or banknote-shaped icons and a series of light effects, makes the first approach to saving a playful experience. If connected to the Intesa Sanpaolo app, it allows you to view the balance on the current account and the achievement of the savings goals of the XME Salvadanaio.

The child can directly check the balance of the amounts saved through an LCD touch screen display: each time coins or banknotes are inserted, the icon of the corresponding coin or banknote is entered on the display, educating little savers to recognize the value of the coins.

“Combining experimentation and financial education is one of the objectives that we set ourselves with XME dindi – commented Andrea Lecce, Sales&Marketing director of Intesa Sanpaolo derivatives and retail companies – Parents' education on saving has always been at heart today we offer a piggy bank in step with the times, innovative, digital and multi-channel. The occasion of Lucca Comics&Games is particularly appropriate because it represents the perfect fusion between the bank's intention to bring children closer to saving through play and imagination. The art of saving allows us to increase our opportunities for choice, from an early age, making us more independent and aware”.
