Asset management, funds recovering: 4 billion in the third quarter

According to the Assogestioni map, after the outflows in the second quarter, funds raised 4 billion in the third – Portfolio management is good, bonds are bad, PIR compliant funds are slowing down – Funds raised at 13,8 billion from the beginning of the year.

A breath of fresh air for the industry managed savings comes from the data for the third quarter of 2018. After the setback recorded in the second half with outflows of 5 billion euro, in the following three months net inflows were positive for 4 billion euros. This is certified by Assogestioni in the usual monthly map.

Driving the collection were in particular the portfolio management which collected 3,6 billion, after -5,8 billion in the previous three months. Collective management was also positive, closing at +454 million from +884 million.

Since the beginning of the year balance of the collection reaches 13,8 billion. Assets under management amount to 2.065,2 billion (from 2.066,6 billion in June).

Bad instead i bond funds (-5,8 billion after -8,7 billion to a total of -19,4 billion since the beginning of the year). Recovery for equities with +2,5 billion (after +184 million) and a total since the beginning of 2018 of +5,6 billion.

Finally, the Pir compliant funds which in the third quarter of 2018 collected "only" 475,5 million euros from +1,33 in the previous three months. Since the beginning of the year, the funding balance of the PIRs is equal to +3,78 billion and promoted assets amount to 18,9 billion.
