The cold has already returned for a few days and you can finally stop chattering your teeth. At least inside the house. From the 15 Octoberindeed, it is possible again turn on the heating in over half of the 8 Italian municipalities. The list includes the mountain areas, where temperatures are lower, but also four of the most important Italian cities: Milano, Torino, Bologna e Venezia.

Below, the complete list of capital cities where from 15 October you can go back to turning on the heating:

  • Aosta, Asti, Bergamo, Biella, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Lecco, Lodi, Milan, Novara, Padua, Pavia, Sondrio, Turin, Varese, Verbania, Vercelli, Bologna, Bolzano, Ferrara, Gorizia, Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Pordenone, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia, Rimini, Rovigo, Trento, Treviso, Trieste, Udine, Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Arezzo, Perugia, Frosinone, Rieti, Campobasso, Enna, L'Aquila and Potenza.

In other areas of the country, however, more patience will be needed. The inhabitants of Roma, GenoVa e Florence, for example, will have to wait on November XNUMXst, along with those of many other smaller cities. Here's the list:

  • Genoa, La Spezia, Savona, Forlì, Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Florence, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Macerata, Massa C., Pesaro, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Rome, Siena, Terni, Viterbo, Avellino, Caltanissetta, Chieti, Foggia, Isernia, Matera, Nuoro, Pescara, Teramo and Vibo Valentia.

In some centers of the South and the islands - such Napoli, Bari e Cagliari – the radiators will only return to heat on November 15th. The complete overview includes 16 provinces:

  • Latina, Bari, Benevento, Brindisi, Cagliari, Caserta, Catanzaro, Cosenza, Lecce, Naples, Oristano, Ragusa, Salerno, Sassari and Taranto.

Finally, in the cities of Italy where the climate is milder, the heating can only be turned on from December XNUMXst. The list includes Reggio Calabria e Palermo, but not only:

  • Agrigento, Catania, Crotone, Messina, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Syracuse, Trapani, Porto Empedocle and the Municipalities of Lampedusa and Linosa.

To save money and at the same time protect the environment, the National Energy Agency (Enea) has drawn up a list of 10 recommendations. The most important, as always, are two: carry out maintenance on the heating systems and pay attention to the switch-on times and temperatures.
