Vito Gamberale will be the new president of Quercus Assets Selection, the management company specialized in renewable energy infrastructures (solar, wind and biomass plants) which has to its credit three funds already operating in Italy and in the rest of Europe and new projects of development.
The arrival of Gamberale, explains a note, will help to give a further impetus to the expansion of the group which a few weeks ago launched the Quercus Italian Wind fund, dedicated to wind farms already in operation in Italy (with a minimum target of raising 150 million euros), to be invested in the next 2 years, to build a portfolio with a base capacity of 300 MW. Quercus Italian Wind is the third fund of Quercus, after Quercus Renewable Energy Fund (launched in 2010) and Quercus Renewable Energy II (still under investment and launched in 2011).
