Fimer has signed an agreement with the Elec El Djazair group for the construction of photovoltaic plants in Algeria. The collaboration with Fimer is part of the operational plan of the programme, which envisages the installation of 22.000 MW of alternative energy over the next 10-12 years, of which 13.500 MW from solar photovoltaics, for which a first stage of 4.000 MW has been launched in next 4-6 years with an investment of 4-5 billion dollars.

"With this agreement - says Ambrogio Carzaniga president of Fimer - our group is a candidate to become the reference leader for the entire solar energy program in Algeria".
