The House definitively approves the anti-corruption law with 480 votes in favour, 19 against and 25 abstentions - The Health reform passes the Senate with 181 votes in favour, 43 against and 23 abstentions.

Reforms: anti-corruption and healthcare become law

Productive day for Italian legislation. After the go-ahead from the Government to the decree for the reduction of the Provinces, the Parliament definitively converted into law two other provisions: the anti-corruption law and the health reform. 

The first text was approved with 480 votes in favour, 19 against and 25 abstentions. The provision has not been changed since the Senate vote in the third reading. Against the deputies of IDV and Luca D'Alessandro (PDL). Among the abstainers were 10 PDL deputies, a Northern League supporter, 3 from Popolo e Territorio, 4 from the Mixed Group and the Radicals.

As for the package of measures developed by the Minister of Health, Renato Balduzzi, Palazzo Madama approved the trust placed by the government with 181 votes in favor, 43 against and 23 abstentions. The provision, which had already been approved by the Deputies Chamber, becomes law.
