Several innovations have been introduced by the Senate which has been working on the text in the Constitutional Affairs commission since the end of last summer: the most interesting are the opening up of a single center of fiscal medicine, centralizing controls on INPS; the crackdown on disciplinary actions; the ax on public companies; the new rules on the term of office of public managers. The latter will have a duration of four years; then they will be renewable for another two years without a selection procedure, but only once.
