The discussion of the bill on the reform of cooperative banks, which is being examined by the Senate Finance Committee, has been postponed to next week. In fact, the select committee meets to discuss tax measures in favor of working women. Most likely, the provision on cooperative banks will be on the agenda of the parliamentary body as early as Tuesday, despite the Development decree that 'holds court' in Palazzo Madama.
In any case, work will resume not on examining the bill, but by continuing the round of informal hearings. After having listened to representatives of Bank of Italy and of the national association of popular banks (Assopopolari), it should be the turn of the representatives of ABI, the Italian banking association.
