RFI, FS Group: awarded 2,4 billion euros in tenders in the last week

Other tenders from the Group led by Luigi Ferraris are expected for a value of 7 billion by the end of the year.

RFI, FS Group: awarded 2,4 billion euros in tenders in the last week

In the last week RFI company of FS Group, Has assigned a total of 2,4 billion euros in tenders thus continuing the commitment to create the new ones strategic works, provided for by the PNRR, which will redesign the sustainable transport and will contribute to reducing the infrastructural gap between Northern and Southern Italy.

In recent years RFI has seen awards contracts for over 10 billion, of which over half in the PNRR, and launch new tenders for almost 13 billion, of which 6,6 in the PNRR. In the last month alone, tenders worth around 7 billion were launched.

RFI, FSI Group: five tenders assigned

The assignment of the works for the was eagerly awaited construction of the HS tunnel and Foster station Florence. The work was entrusted to Pizzarotti and Saipem who won the contract with a total cost of 1 billion euros.

They are four other assigned works during the week: the first in Sicily, worth 1,2 billion, involves the construction of the Caltanissetta Xirbi – New Enna, part of the new Palermo – Catania – Messina railway connection; the second, still in Sicily for the construction of the Lazio stop, in the Palermo bypass, for over 42 million; the other two are aimed at connections from Orio al Serio airports (Lombardy) for 121 million and del Salento to the railway network (Apulia) for 70 million.
