In particular, two sources interviewed by Reuters speculate that the final yield of the bond will settle at 7% or more. The response from investors met by the bank has so far been positive. “The roadshow is going well, with excellent attendance and a record number of investors, never seen so many in London, Paris and Asia” says one of the lead managers involved.

“The idea of ​​the bond is very popular” he continues, adding that tomorrow, if market conditions allow it, could be the right day for the placement of the bond. "We don't see an impact of the Ukrainian crisis on the operation."

A second source confirms that the launch of the bond could arrive as early as tomorrow. The operation is managed by a pool of banks made up of Citigroup, HSBC, Societe Generale Cib, UBS and UniCredit itself. Today Unicredit earns 0,71% amid the day 6,41 euro.
