Vodafone's mobile network is confirmed as first in Italy for the quality of voice and data services, based on the latest survey carried out in Italy by P3 Communications, a German engineering company, leader in the market for comparative tests on mobile networks.
The surveys - communicates the telephone company - were carried out from 28 February to 23 March and involved 14 major Italian cities, Common 26 and connecting roads for a total of over 5.000 km, equal to 18% of the population.
"The report takes into consideration many parameters - continues the press release - both for the voice service and for the data service. In particular, for voice the percentage of success of the calls, the sound quality and the time of establishment was evaluated, while for the data the accessibility to the service, the speed and fluidity of services such as browsing and streaming ".
On a 1000-point scale, the Vodafone network scored 891. In detail, the voice performance reaches 331 points out of 400, while the data performance reaches 561 points out of 600.
Vodafone confirms itself first with a wide gap from its competitors on three parameters: in the big cities with 88% against 76% of the second operator; in the smaller municipalities with 76% detaching the second by 15 percentage points; on the connecting roads, the score is almost double that of the other operators (71% against 40% of the operator who obtained the second best score). Still with regard to voice, the implementation and optimization of VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) technology and the extension of 4G coverage guarantee increasingly rapid accessibility to calls and strong stability during conversations, both in and outside the city.
In the data, Vodafone always obtains the best overall result, with a more marked difference on the connecting roads where it records 88% - eight points more than the second - and far distances the other two operators who stop at 66% and 59%.
