Maison Margiela renew top management. The brand, which is part of the constellation of the holding company otb, chose Stefano rosso as president, while Gaetano Sciuto assumed the role of CEO. Both will report to Ubaldo Minelli, managing director of the parent company. Stefano Rosso, former board member of Otb and CEO of Bvx-Brave virtual xperience, takes over from his father Renzo Rosso, who held the presidency of Maison Margiela since the acquisition, which took place in 2002. Sciuto succeeds instead to Gianfranco Gianangeli, which "in mutual agreement with the company, has chosen to embark on a new path".

Sciuto will take office from July 17

“I am very attached to Maison Margiela, one of the most iconic brands in the fashion world, Stefano will have a great responsibility and this appointment marks an important stage in his career path. Stefano's new role and the arrival of Gaetano will be crucial in accelerating the brand's potential and taking it to the next stage of its growth” said Renzo Rosso, President of the OTB Group.
Sciuto, who will officially take office on July 17, has over 30 years of career in the fashion and luxury sector. Before joining Maison Margiela, he was CEO of Giorgio Armani Americas and previously held positions of increasing responsibility at Fendi, where he was president of Fendi Americas and global licenses and accessories director. The appointment comes just a few hours after the announcement of Matteo Lena's inauguration at the top of Diesel, the flagship brand of the Otb group, in the North America region. “We are happy to welcome Stefano to the presidency of Maison Margiela and to welcome Gaetano to the group, a manager with great experience in the luxury sector. I would like to thank Gianfranco for the work he has done over the years” added the CEO Ubaldo Minelli.
