Renzi, Pd opens to the left: broad coalition

In the direction of the Democratic Party Matteo Renzi collects the advice of Prodi and Veltroni for a broad coalition: "Whoever has left the Democratic Party is not the opponent" - Today the go-ahead from the Chamber Commission to the Rosatellum

“Whoever left the Democratic Party is not our opponent”, which remains grillino and Northern League populism. With the olive branch towards Bersani's MDP, the secretary of the Pd, Matteo Renzi, has reopened on the left arguing that to win the elections a "broad coalition" is needed, from Calenda to Pisapia and, yes, even the MDP splinters.

Renzi's is a significant change of pace, who, following the advice of the last few days of the fathers of the Ulivo Romano Prodi and Walter Veltroni, reopens the games by coming out of isolation in view of the next elections and immediately collecting the applause of the internal minorities .

To demonstrate good faith, the Pd meets the problems of the Mdp by approving the exemption from collecting signatures for the presentation of electoral lists for those who have formed a parliamentary group by April 15 (i.e. Mdp) and supporting the Rosatellum to the sword , i.e. the new slightly less proportionalist electoral law which favors the formation of coalitions, also through separate voting.

And the Rosatellum could take a step forward today with the approval of the Constitutional Affairs Commission of the Chamber, even if the real battle will be in the Senate, where the grillini threaten fire and flames.
