Renzi and M5S: white-hot clash on Atac and vaccines

Renzi and M5S: white-hot clash on Atac and vaccines

White-hot clash between Matteo Renzi and the grillini. The secretary of the Democratic Party does not send them to say and attacks the 5 Star Movement on Rome and the Atac and on vaccines. "In Atac - says Renzi - the grillini recommend friends of friends", like he said in recent days the former director general of Atac, Bruno Rota.

But the mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi, does not take it well and threatens to sue the secretary of the Democratic Party. But Raggi must first of all try to put out the fire at her house after the controversial declarations of the councilor for the budget, Mazzillo, who called for a change in the Raggi junta because "by continuing like this we're going to crash". Mazzillo complains that many decisions on Rome are brought down from above and taken by Grillo and Casaleggio without the Grillo advisers knowing anything about it. But even on this front, Raggi tries to take cover and threatens: "Councillors and councilors must not get distracted from work: those who prefer to argue will leave the team alone".

But the bankruptcy of the grillina management of Rome and the Atac case are not the only battleground between Renzi and the 5 Star Movement. The former prime minister also goes on the attack on vaccines: "When I hear a Genoese comedian insulting the memory of Rita Levi Montalcini and Veronesi and stating that vaccines are bad, consistency is needed."

Speaking precisely of the vaccine decree, the secretary of the Democratic Party says: “We must not be afraid of science, there are people who go to Facebook and sow panic. They tell things that are often not true, but the sharing circuit causes a viral spread. Casaleggio said that what is viral becomes true, but it doesn't. This mechanism causes fear, if I say that by vaccinating I am in the interest of pharmaceutical companies, it happens that in a class the number of children who are vaccinated is reduced and perhaps the weakest one risks causing damage, sometimes even fatal ".

Words that caused the wrath of Gianroberto Casaleggio's son, Davide: “Renzi must stop tarnishing my father's memory. It is intolerable that he keeps repeating a hoax he invented that distorts my father's thoughts – he writes in a post on Grillo's blog -. I invite him to correct and apologize immediately so as not to lose the minimum of dignity that should distinguish any political statement. He has completely lost all credibility,” he adds.

The dem leader's counter-reply was timely: "The idea that what is viral is true worries me", he wrote in a post published on Facebook. “I don't want controversy with anyone, least of all with the son of a man who has innovated many aspects of political communication. But I believe in the truth of things. I don't agree with that sentence from Casaleggio. I would very much like it if, in civil tones and without controversy, a discussion could be opened on the virality on the net and the truth of things. I'm ready to discuss it with anyone, even with Davide Casaleggio".

But the sparks will certainly not end there.
