Renzi-Berlusconi: the pact for reforms holds

The Covenant of the Nazarene holds. Pd and Forza Italia are still intent on carrying forward together the project for electoral reform and changes to the Constitution, starting with the abolition of perfect bicameralism. This is the result of this morning's meeting – which lasted over two hours – between Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and FI leader Silvio Berlusconi.

“With the Italicum we want to proceed quickly after the launch of the reform of the Senate, already before the summer – explained Lorenzo Guerini, deputy secretary of the Pd, immediately after the appointment -. The framework of the agreement reached in recent months has been confirmed. The agreement holds. The meeting with Silvio Berlusconi was very positive”.

The discussion on the reforms "is open to all - he added -, after having met Forza Italia in a discussion aimed at implementing the reforms, we are ready to see all the political forces. We have asked the M5s questions and are interested in seeing them. I believe that in the next few hours we will put the new confrontation in the works ”.

Meanwhile, this morning a new accusation of Beppe Grillo arrived from the blog: "The Prime Minister Renzi, despite repeated requests from the M5S delegation - wrote the Genoese comedian - has not yet announced when he will meet with them to discuss the law electoral. In the meantime, this morning he is meeting the Noto Pregiudicato at Palazzo Chigi, accompanied by Gianni Letta, to discuss the reforms".
