Renewable energy: Costim enters the share capital of Verde21

cost, a group from Bergamo that operates in the Real Estate and Construction sector, has announced theinput in the share capital of Green 21, an innovative SME active in the market of renewable energy. The company owns the patented trademark Dynamo, a multi-source energy system design using 3D photovoltaic technologies.

cost, born in 2019, is a holding company controlled by Polifin (60%) of the family Bosatelli and participated by the industrial partner Unifin (40%) of Francesco Percassi. The Group, an integrated and digitized national industrial player, operates along the entire real estate supply chain for the turnkey construction of large urban regeneration projects on its own account and for third parties.

Green 21, a benefit company based in Milan, operates in the renewable energy sector, specializing in the design, construction and marketing of three-dimensional photovoltaic systems of high architectural quality and industrial design.

The details of the operation

Upon completion of the transaction, Costim will have a 20% stake in the share capital of Verde21 SpA. for a value of approx 15 million euro. The entry into the share capital will allow the group to strengthen its position in the innovation linked to the renewable energy market with the aim of contributing to the transition towards a more sustainable and low environmental impact Real Estate while it will allow Verde21 to have greater resources to be allocated to investments in research and development of new technologies and innovative solutions.

“The Costim Group and Verde21, sharing the same vision of a sustainable future, are committed to work together to offer their contribution to the energy transition, promoting the use of clean and renewable energy,” he said Jacopo Palermo, CEO of Costim and new Board Member of Verde21.

“It is with great satisfaction that we welcome the entry of the Costim Group into the share capital of Verde21 SpA. This is an important operation which will give solidity to the Dynamo industrial project, which has the ambition to bring Made in Italy beauty and design into the energy transition,” he said Amerigo Della Pina, President of Verde21.

Dynamo photovoltaic systems

I 3D Dynamo photovoltaic systems of Verde21 are clean-tech energy systems: the design, protected by international patents, exploits the shapes of the "Platonic Solids" and the three-dimensionality to optimize the conversion of solar energy into electricity. There surface, three-dimensional, composed of solar panels, for the same occupied surface, captures more energy than a traditional photovoltaic system, as it can absorb the power of the sun throughout the day, guaranteeing better self-consumption, both in optimal weather conditions, than in situations of low irradiation, cloudy skies or shaded areas.

On the occasion of the Design Week in Milan (from 17 to 23 April), a example of a photovoltaic pyramid DYNAMO will be installed and visible to the public in Piazza Gae Aulenti.
