ICBPI CartaSi, leader in Italy in the financial services, e-money and payments sectors, has appointed Renato Martini Director of the Payments & ATM Business Unit. Martini will report to Paolo Bertoluzzo, CEO of ICBPI and CartaSi, and will be a member of the Management Committee.
The appointment of Renato Martini is part of the plan to place highly qualified managers in key roles capable of making a significant contribution to the growth of ICBPI – CartaSi, with the aim of giving a decisive boost to the development of financial services and products at the service of banks and partner companies, thanks to the solid experience gained in this sector over the years.
Martini was Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Factoring, a position he held until joining ICBPI – CartaSi, and previously held the position of Head of Global Segment at UniCredit for the bank's Small and Medium Enterprises customers and subsequently for Italian corporate customers.
After graduating in Electronic Engineering and obtaining a Masters in Business Administration from Insead, Renato Martini began his professional career in consultancy, first at Andersen Consulting and later at McKinsey, with various positions in the financial services sector.
