The date of the referendum on Constitutional reform will be established by the Council of Ministers on 26 September. This was announced by the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, during his speech at Unomattina. The consultation, the premier clarified, will be held on one of these Sundays: 20 and 27 November or 9 December.
Furthermore, Renzi said he was once again willing to modify the electoral law: "we will ask the other opposition parties what their ideas are, otherwise it will be a surreal discussion".
