Referendum "No Triv": Ghino di Tacco becomes "Emilian"

The Governor of Puglia, Michele Emiliano, masks a sinister power conflict with the state over regional energy responsibilities by leading the campaign for the fraudulent "No Triv" referendum which has nothing to do with drilling - The case of Potenza feeds incredible exploitations and Di Maio dreams of a South of waiters and hoteliers.

Referendum "No Triv": Ghino di Tacco becomes "Emilian"

By now it is clear that the so-called referendum “No Triv” has nothing to do with drilling, with environmental protection, with the push for clean energy, but concerns a trivial conflict of power and money between the Regions, especially the southern ones, and the Government of Rome which is taking away from them some attributions that had been given to him with the unfortunate reform of 2001.

The Governor of Puglia Michele Emiliano he has said it several times: to build storage tanks in Taranto, "compensation" is needed, that is, a little money to give to local communities to compensate them for the risk of pollution that this could entail. Not only that but Emiliano has the ambition to lead the resistance of the Regions in the face of constitutional changes that will take away the responsibilities of the local authorities on issues of national importance such as energy and transport. In short Ghino di Tacco from Radicofani he moved to Puglia and his name is Emiliano.

To complicate everything there are the investigations of the power attorney which have no real relationship with offshore drills, but which nonetheless create a political climate against the exploration and extraction of oil and gas, expanded by the media, even if it is still not clear what crime the Government as a whole, apart from the undue influence exerted on Minister Guidi who promptly resigned. From here to say, as the 5 Stars have done, that the lobbies have been favored there is a lot. And then which lobbies given that we are dealing with ENI (still a public company) and the French state oil group Total? And above all that these are concessions dating back to many years ago and which, after huge investments, it would now be time to make them work.

But beyond the details and the shameful political manipulations, this whole story raises very serious questions about how many of our politicians conceive a development strategy suitable for Italy and in particular for our South. Renzi was very clear: to reduce the political-bureaucratic tangle that paralyzes any initiative, to stimulate public and private investments, to improve the training of workers and their active participation in factory life. But what do the left PD and the local Ras want? Are they thinking of continuing to give out invalidity pensions or places in the public administration? But this, in addition to no longer being possible, is not a recipe that has led to real development, so much so that in the South the per capita income is still half that of the North. Not to mention Di Maio which proposes clean energy (but the South has already done a lot of it) and tourism without knowing that 25 million people cannot live only by being waiters or hoteliers.

To block all these confused spreaders of illusions, who however risk turning into real nightmares, all that remains is to exercise the right not to play along with them and just don't go to vote on April 17th to derail their fraudulent referendum.
