From Friday 25 August others 32 thousand recipients of basic income they will receive the text message with which INPS will communicate theupon termination of the subsidy. And that's it: after the 159 text messages that arrived at the end of July, another 40 will be sent by December. Numbers in hand, by the end of 2023 they will be 240 thousand families who will lose their income of citizenship.

The now infamous text message from INPS communicating the cessation of the Citizenship Income will be sent to 32.850 earners considered "employable" who began receiving the subsidy last February and tomorrow, Friday 25 August, will receive the credit for the last month's salary and the parallel communication - less "cold" than the previous one, they assure from the National Social Security Institute - that for them the subsidy stopped.
This was anticipated by Diego De Felice, central director of INPS communication, at "Agorà Estate" on Rai 3.
Who are “the employables”? Those who do not have at least one minor, an over 60 or a disabled person in their family.
This is not an INPS initiative, it should be remembered, but the Institute limits itself to applying the rules established by the reform launched by the Meloni government. “The law – explained De Felici – provides for the cessation of the basic income after 7 months in 2023. With an ISEE under 6, you can apply for job training support
Starting from 1 September, those who can be employed with an ISEE under 6 thousand euros who received income and lost it will be able to apply to INPS for the Job training support: a check for 350 euros per month, for a maximum of 12 months, subject to participation in a training course or other active employment policy initiative.
