Recovery Plan and Reopening decree towards ok Thursday

No delay on Recovery Plan. Mario Draghi intends to meet the April 30 deadline for sending it to Brussels and four days earlier he will present the plan to Parliament. The Council of Ministers that will give the green light to the provision will instead be held Thursday 22. During the same meeting, the Government will also approve the decree on reopening. After that, on Friday, the Executive will meet again to launch the Support decree 2.

As for the contents of the Recovery Plan, the most significant indiscretion among the few in circulation speaks of growing railway investments. The goal is to increase the level of ecology of the plan, in order to increase the chances that Brussels will give the go-ahead without asking for too many changes.

Then there is another decree law at stake: what the governance of the national recovery and resilience plan and the simplifications will have to ensure the effective implementation of investments. It is not excluded that this measure could also be approved on Thursday by the Council of Ministers, but the very busy agenda of the government suggests that a postponement to May is probable.
