Who would have thought that? instead the Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo watch auction held in New York on 11 and 12 December 2021. York which included the sale of the Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5711 (Tiffany blue dial) with an estimate of $50.000 was sold for $6.503.500 million.

The specimen is part of a series of only 170 pieces to celebrate years of collaboration with Tiffany (as anticipated a few days ago in an article) While this specimen ran for charity in favor of The Nature Conservancy (which supports the fight for climate change). The remaining 169 pieces will be sold in various Tiffany boutiques in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles

Surely it is the absolute record for the Phillips auction house for an online sale.
