The Lazio Regional Administrative Court has decided not to suspend the press release with which Consob, last July 22, did not consider "the conditions exist for the precautionary suspension of the Cairo offer on RCS".
With three monocratic decrees, the administrative judges rejected the requests presented by International Media Holding, Diego Della Valle (DiVi) and Pirelli, at the same time setting the hearing to discuss the appeals in closed session for next August 30th.
The three shareholders contested the Authority's decision to block any type of claim, a choice which, according to Della Valle, brought about a "grave failing" on the part of Consob which should have "clarified" and "take responsibility for fully tell us how things are according to the law and do it quickly. We must be sure that there are agile and precise controllers: I want to go all the way, I want them to tell us the truth".
The Lazio Regional Administrative Court also ordered Consob to file in court within five days "the copy of the minutes (or minutes) of the session (or sessions) in which the Commission examined the complaints received on the matter and any subsequent resolutions" .
