Rcs: on Blackstone alt of Tronchetti, Della Valle and Intesa in Cairo

Sparks at the top of RCS: three significant shareholders such as Tronchetti Provera, Della Valle and Banca Intesa express their disagreement with Cairo over the clash with the Blackstone fund over the sale of the headquarters in via Solferino

Rcs: on Blackstone alt of Tronchetti, Della Valle and Intesa in Cairo

Se the surprise move by Carlo De Benedetti the Espresso, the dry, has stirred the waters in the group hello to Urbano Cairo by Marco Tronchetti Provera, Diego Della Valle and especially Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, which is the great financier of the Alessandrian publisher, on the Blackstone case not a little shakes the top of the group that publishes the Corriere della Sera.

According to an indiscretion reported over the weekend by the website Lettera 43, Tronchetti Provera, Della Valle and Banca Intesa, who are shareholders of RCS, would have had it delivered in Cairo a letter in which they express their dissent on the clash with the American giant Blackstone which the publisher opened to dispute the price, deemed too low, paid by the Fund to detect the historic Milan office of the Corriere in via Solferino.

The distancing of the three Rcs shareholders from the publisher causes a sensation for at least two reasons: firstly because they are three very important shareholders and secondly because their initiative practically comes on the eve of the first arbitration hearing between Cairo and Blackstone scheduled for Monday 21 October.

Previously, the American fund Blackstone had filed a lawsuit against President Cairo, who wanted to disrupt the sale of the historic Corriere headquarters, asking him for compensation of 600 million dollars.
