Green light from Consob to Ops (Urbano Cairo's public exchange offer on RCS, the publishing house of Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport, on which Andrea Bonomia's Investindustrial and some of the historic shareholders (except Intesa Sanpaolo) have launched an alternative takeover bid.
Cairo is convinced that useful synergies could arise between his La7 and Corriere della Sera and contribute to savings of 140 million. His Ops will start on June 13th and end on July 8th.
The market bets on next raises between the two teams, unless new partners take the field alongside one of the two.
