It's still a battle for RCS: now it's time for complaints to Consob. To that of XNUMX Diego Della Valle, which arrived late on Wednesday evening, today there is also the complaint of the consortium Imh (International Media Holding), the one led by Andrea Bonomi and of which Della Valle himself is a shareholder, which was defeated in the race for RCS by the rival offer, that of Urban Cairo which through its takeover bid won with 48,8% of adhesions. In fact, today expired the deadline within which requests could be presented.
The complaint of the Bonomi consortium also reached Consob, which was asked to verify whether there were any irregularities in the execution of the public purchase and exchange offer by Cairo Communication. Yesterday in the evening the personal move of the entrepreneur from the Marches had arrived, who had already raised doubts about the correctness of the procedure. Della Valle had in fact announced that with respect to "the related outcomes and the events that led to them, in my capacity as owner of a total stake of approximately 7,3% of the capital of Rcs I will request all relevant authorities for reassurance, and with me the whole market, on the fact that everything took place in compliance with the rules. I hope that each step will be analyzed in a vigilant and very detailed manner and, given the imminent deadlines of the procedure in progress, with the necessary speed".
In the middle of the day the Rcs Mediagroup title it lost just under 1% in Piazza Affari, where it remained below the euro per share at 0,9105. In the last month, the one characterized by offers and counter-offers of the two consortiums, the stock gained almost 19%.
