Enel e Sace have signed an agreement to facilitate the granting of plans installment payments for the bills di light e gas to businesses. In detail, the objective of the agreement is to create the most favorable conditions for Enel Energia customers to negotiate the deferment of bill payment through Energy Deposit Pmi, a digital solution, implemented by Sace BT - specialized in the insurance of short-term trade credits, sureties and the protection of construction risks - to support Italian SMEs affected by the increase in energy costs.

Payment of business bills
The tool allows companies to offer a payment guarantee, in the form of a deposit, issued only after creditworthiness assessment, for an amount equal to the deferred invoices.
After having negotiated the structure of the installment plan of one or more invoices for energy consumption with Enel Energia, SMEs will be able to request the bail directly on the site Sace, where a simulator is available which, based on the 2021 balance sheet data, returns in real time an initial indication of the acceptability of the request and the cost of the deposit itself.
Sace Bt will then analyze the request and, in the event of a positive outcome of the evaluation process, will issue, in format digital, the guarantee to be presented to Enel Energia.
