After days of tension, there is white smoke on the appointments in Rai. The former president of public television, Monica Maggioni, will lead Tg1, while Simon Sala he will leave the Giornale Radio to direct the Tg3 in place of Mario Orfeo. Confirmed on Tg2 Gennaro Sangiuliano.
These are the nomination proposals presented by CEO Carlo Fuortes to the directors in view of the board meeting scheduled for tomorrow. The agreement between the parties was reached in extremis after heated controversies that even risked blowing up the board of directors, with some directors who today refused to meet the CEO to discuss the criteria relating to the appointments.
As for the other seats: Alessandro Casarin will remain at TgR, while Mario Orfeo will direct the Journalistic insights. Paolo Petrecca, at altitude Fratelli d'Italia, will direct RaiNews and Antonio Preziosi will lead RaiParliament. Finally, a RaiSport, Alessandra De Stefano will take the place of Auro Bulbarelli.
