Radical Radio is safe but the majority is shattered

The Lega-M5S idyll that has just begun is already over: on the support of 3 million for Radical Radio, included in the growth decree, he knocked out the government majority. The amendment, proposed by the Pd, was in fact voted by the League but not by the M5S which is now protesting via Facebook with the words of Luigi Di Maio: “Today the government majority has split, for the first time. It was so, it is useless to hide it ”.

“In our opinion it is a very serious matter, for which the League will also have to answer to the citizens. I'm frank: he will have to explain why he supported this indecent proposal from the Democratic Party!". However, the indecent proposal, as the deputy prime minister defined it, is not sufficient to call into question the agreements recently renewed with the ally Salvini, who emerged victorious from the vote in the European elections. In fact, "we go on - adds Di Maio again - because we are serious people" .

The amendment that allows Radical Radio, a free voice in the panorama of radio information, to continue with its programming was reformulated by the League but had in any case obtained the contrary opinion of the deputy minister Laura Castelli (M5S) . This did not prevent it from being approved by the Finance and Budget commissions in the Chamber which gave the green light to the dem amendment (signed by Sensi and Giachetti) with the support of the League which "gave up" the pentastellati. It is yet another indication of the difficult and fickle relationships that keep the yellow-green majority standing after the electoral stress and on the eve of much more demanding battles such as those that will concern the next budget maneuver under the spotlights in Brussels.
