The Colle's budget shows a 2% drop in expenses compared to the previous year, from 241 to 236 million euros – The main expense item remains wages, at 50% of the total.

Il Quirinal cut expenses. In the Colle's budget published this morning, the main change is that relating to expenses, down by 2% compared to the previous year, from 241 to 236 million euros for a cut, therefore by 5 million euros in the first year of the presidency of Sergio Mattarella.

The main expense item for Colle remains wages, which cover the 50,86% of the total, down by 1,84% compared to forecasts thanks to some containment interventions, such as the prohibition of cumulation of remuneration and salary limits for staff and permanent personnel.

Expenditure on goods and services decreased, amounting to around 21 million, down by 5% compared to the 2015 forecast, while in the two-year period up to 2018 it will tend to drop again by 1,42% and around 1% in 2018. Taxes paid by Colle, on the other hand, exceed 10 million euros, of which 9 and a half million of Irap and 630 thousand euros of other taxes.
