While proceeding to count who managed to enter Parliament and for those who have remained excluded, this is the only question that still awaits an answer. And it is perhaps the most important, especially after the law on the cut of parliamentarians which reduced the number of seats available: they will 400 deputies who will enter Montecitorio e on 13 October 200 senators who will occupy a seat in Palazzo Madama.

The centre-right will not have a two-thirds majority 

The only sure thing at the moment is that the centre-right, despite the large victory, he will not be able to reach a two-thirds majority. Which means that if he wants to change the Constitution in a presidential key, as promised in the electoral campaign, he will have two alternatives: to cast favorable votes among the opposition seats or to go through the popular vote, using the referendum.

Seats in the Chamber: what the new majority will be like

Final data on seats in the House conquered by the various parties are not there yet, but according to the final projections elaborated by Quorum/YouTrend for Sky TG24, with its 43,8% of the vote, the center it should reach 235 seats out of 400 (the majority is 201). 

With 26,1%, the center left it should instead have 80 deputies. There will be 51 representatives of the Movement 5 Stars (15,4%) and 21 those of Third Pole (7,8%).

Speaking instead of the individual parties, the Brothers of Italy (26%) should have 118 seats, the Democratic Party (19,1%) 65 seats, as well as the League (8,8%). There will be 45 deputies from Forza Italia (8,1%), 12 from the Verdi-Sei alliance (3,6%).

The distribution of seats in the Senate

The numbers of the center in the Senate, where the majority is equal to 101 seats. 44 would go to the center-right (113%), al center left (26%) 41, al Movement 5 Stars (15,6%) 28 et al Third Pole (7,7%) 10. 

With this majority, Fratelli d'Italia (26%) would get 66 seats in the Senate, the Democratic Party (19%) 39, the Lega (8,9%) 26 and Forza Italia (8,3%) 19.
