“Food stop”: we will have to get used to seeing this brand of on-the-road catering along motorways, state roads and main roads, the result of a collaboration between Autogrill and Kuwait Petroleum Italy (Q8)   A marriage from which the first child was already born, fresh from baptism, in Sicily, on the A18 at Santa Teresa di Riva (Messina) but which is destined to have other Food Stop "brothers" who will come to light in Italy during 2019 . 

The new brand “Food Stop”, filed jointly by Autogrill and Kuwait Petroleum, will be used exclusively for Q8. Food Stop is characterized by its modular layout, with a large seating area, showcases dedicated to individual product categories and a single central cash desk dedicated to oil and food&beverage. A wide offer is presented with particular attention to the world of health and a selection of products for a quick break. Obviously the typical products cannot be missing.

“This partnership with Autogrill brings a strong, impactful new brand to our network that significantly contributes to strengthen and diversify our non-oil offering, increasingly crucial in terms of customer satisfaction”, explains Giuseppe Zappalà, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Italia with satisfaction. Andrea Cipolloni, CEO of Autogrill Europe echoes him: “Food Stop was created with the aim of offering our traveling customers a wide range of integrated services to meet consumer needs and current trends”. As mentioned, the Sicilian one is only the first "Food stop" rest and refreshment area, but others are planned and will be inaugurated during the year.
