"Iran has the right to develop a nuclear program civilian and to use nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes: the Russian president said Vladimir Putin in an interview with Sky News Arabia.

Iran: Putin's words

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no data to indicate that Iran is attempting to develop nuclear army, Putin stressed, emphasizing that “Iran has repeatedly stated that it is not seeking to do so. And the IAEA has no evidence or signs that indicate the development of nuclear weapons” by Tehran.

“I would like to recall that Iran has adopted a fatwa prohibiting the possession of nuclear weapons – the Russian leader said, as reported by Tass -. And it is of great importance,” especially given the fact that Iran is an Islamic nation governed by its own principles.

Putin on Ukraine: “Ukraine is ours, essential to eliminate its Nazi character”

In a letter to the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, and the UNSC, Iran's representative to the UN, Saeed Iravani, said that "the statements by the head of the IAEA against the Iranian nuclear program, released on the eve of the Israeli attacks against Iran, have violated clearly and seriously the principle of impartiality.
