Good news for i civil servants. They're about to arrive on paychecks the arrears linked to the 2019-2021 contracts, as sums that can reach up to 3.000 euros which even exceed 4 thousand euros for nurses.

Civil servants: who will receive the arrears
Receiving the arrears will be civil servants active in 4 sectors:
- central functions (ministries and tax agencies, etc.)
- local authorities (regional municipal employees)
- healthcare
- the school.
The workers of the ministries, whose contract was signed in May, have already received the arrears in July, with figures that in some cases came close to 3 euros.
Public employee arrears: over 4 thousand euros for nurses
The next to receive the sum will be the nurses who will be able to count not only on the arrears of 2019 and 2021, but also of the first 10 months of 2022. Workers in hospitals and clinics will receive an average gross amount ranging from 2.268 euros to 3.135. For nurses it will also add the indemnity provided for by the new contract national. In total, therefore, the gross salary will reach 3.777 euros for the lowest positions and 4.736 euros for level D6.
When will the money arrive? Last June, Aran and the trade unions preliminarily signed the new health contract. The agreement was sent to the Ministry of the Economy and will then go to the Court of Auditors for the definitive ok. According to expectations, the arrears should therefore arrive in paycheck already in October.
Municipal employees arrears
By the end of the year, they will also receive arrears for municipal employees. As expected, the agreement between Aran and the unions provides for a average increase of about 100 euros monthly gross. Once the procedure has been unblocked, therefore, the municipal employees will receive an inclusive sum between 1.444 and 1.977 euros gross.
