Small slowdown in the race to the bottom of advertising investments in Italy in the month of April. After January at -15,3%, February at -17,7% and March at -22,7%, the market during the month of April seems, as announced by many, to reverse the worsening trend, closing at - 18,2% and bringing the first quarter of 2013 (January-April) to -18,7%.

A slight improvement compared to -18,9% in the first quarter of 2013, but the difficult moment of the market continues, with different dynamics depending on the vehicles. This was announced by Nielsen, specifying that once again the Internet deserves a separate discussion: according to the universe monitored by Nielsen/FCP, this medium, the only one with a positive sign, showed a slightly negative trend in April (-0,6% ), which brings the quarter to a growth of 1,4%.
