Il Lazio it is the Italian Region that in 2021 carried out plus online spending to support the Public Administration: 3,4 billion of Euro. The second region that has spent the most is the Sicilia, with 1,342 billion. On the third step of the podium is instead the Lombardia, which slightly exceeds one billion, followed closely by Veneto. In fifth position is the Campania with 992 million.

At the provincial level, the lion's share obviously goes Roma with 3,2 billion. The other components of the top-5 are less obvious: Palermo (705 million), Cagliari (661 million), GenoVa (611) and Napoli (598)
How does the public administration spend its money?
As far as product sectors are concerned, the majority of purchases are recorded in Health, with 3,8 billion. They follow energy and utilities (2,5 billion), Ict (2,4 billion), maintenance works (1,4 billion) e building management (1,1 billion).
