Psoe: Susana Diaz is a candidate for secretariat

The president of Andalusia Susana Diaz is a candidate to lead the Spanish Socialist Party, in order to bring it back to its ancient beginnings after the collapse that occurred over the last year and a half, during which the PSOE has reached an all-time low for thirty years in terms of consent.

However, standing between her and the PSOE secretariat will be the former number one of the party, Pedro Sànchez, who resigned last October and was replaced by the provisional leadership of the president of Asturias Javier Fernandez. After dark months, however, Sanchez is recovering the lost consensus, reaching the point of conquering the hard core of the socialist electorate who support his consistent opposition to the government led by Mariano Rajoy's PP. The third candidate will be former PSE-EE secretary Patxi Lopez.

Since last October, the Iberian newspapers have been talking about Susana Diaz as the future secretary of the socialist party. On a theoretical level therefore, the president of Andalusia should not fear rivals.

At home, however, it is already controversy. To date, Diaz already holds two positions: that of President of Andalusia and that of general secretary of the Andalusian PSOE. Precisely for this reason many are asking her to give up the positions she holds and above all wondering what she will do if he manages to conquer the national secretariat as well. According to what was written by the ABC newspaper, the Governor will try to keep the double office for as long as possible, at least until the definitive results of the socialist primaries, scheduled for May, and of the federal Congress in June are known. Then she will see you.
