It kicks off Monday 7 November from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa the “Prometeia Talent Journey”, in Room E Fibonacci Educational Center of the University of Pisa from 14:00 to 18:00. A tour under the banner of innovation that will be an opportunity for the company to meet with students of the master's degree courses and the second and third year of the three-year degree courses of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science, and who will be able to put themselves to the test with a challenge on JavaScript programming. The seminar is organized by prof. Paolo Milazzo with the support of the Career Service.
The "Talent Journey" will also reach the Universities of Pavia, Cesena, Modena, Florence, Siena, Casino, Bari e Catania, and will end in May 2023 with the "Talent Day", a day in the Prometeia headquarters in Bologna together with 50 of the most talented girls and boys met in the universities involved, and interested in learning more about the Prometeia reality.
Prometeia Tech Evolution seminar
Through an excursus on software, tools and technologies used in the latest generation enterprise solutions, Prometeia will share its experience in the field tech. From the advantages and opportunities of the cloud, to the solutions implemented on AWS, up to the industrial process of software production: a meeting to demonstrate the importance of high-level technological development.
Codelity Challenge
On the occasion of the meetings with the universities that have joined the Talent Journey, the students will be the protagonists of a challenge with prizes based on the knowledge of programming languages.
Lo purpose of the challenge is to find efficient solutions to a series of intriguing algorithmic problems, and implement them in JavaScript through a portal made available by the organizers. The challenge will take place in presence and will last approximately 60-90 minutes. Participants must arrive with their own laptop capable of connecting to the wifi network. The winner will be given a good Amazon and will have the opportunity to participate in the Talent Day scheduled for May at the company's headquarters in Bologna. Transportation, board and lodging costs will be borne by Prometeia.
