Women and Future Project in Savona: "Life is about creating yourself"

Yesterday the annual event took place at the Priamar Fortress in Savona, which also celebrates the first 10 years of Progetto Donne e Futuro, founded by Cristina Rossello, with an international conference on new technologies, artificial intelligence and their influence on life projects to come: among the speakers, the eldest daughter of Bob Kennedy and his wife Ethel Skakel.

At Priamar in Savona, a special day dedicated to the tenth year of life of Project Women and the Future founded by Christine Rossello, lawyer and philanthropist, who in 2007 decided to create an association whose main characteristic is to address women in order to ensure the promotion of its social and cultural conception, and make it more possible to achieve a new concept of balance of type. Furthermore, Progetto Donne e Futuro proposed itself as a concrete aid, an expression of solidarity and female collaboration, aimed at deserving young people. Participation has been constant and active in these 10 years of activity with continuous insights into topics of reflection and study.

The starting point is the woman, a serious commitment that participates in the development of the world with concreteness with the will to change things, without protagonism but as participation. The results speak for themselves, where the soul of this project is the generosity and solidarity between women; projects that start from the territory to become national and international, a true best practice.

The program saw the participation of important international guests: Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Vice President of the Science for Peace World Conference; Lyn Christensen, Coacher trainer and development top technology companies and Family officer; Emerine Kabanski, Ministry off Zambia; Ilaria Caprioglio, mayor of the city and Federico Delfino, Pro Rector of the Campus and of the University of Savona and the circle of ideas and thoughts of Progetto Donne e Futuro introduced "The city for Progetto Donne e Futuro".

After the greetings of the various authorities present, it is Cristina Rossello who introduces the rich day of speeches, indicating as the slogan of this precise initiative "life is not about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself“. Which specifies that the 10 essential elements on which the future is played, even if Italy is not present at any table promoted by the greats of the earth: "but life can change with the new frontiers", such as those shown below in the table:

Finally, he announced that next year the conference will last three days with training work tables, working precisely on these issues with those who will be able to give interpretations to improve the future.

Kathleen Kennedy, politician and human rights activist, opens the proceedings with a "character" speech on the different aspects of the power of technological intelligence, where knowledge is the basis for achieving a result. With this intervention you follow the first round table.

Second intervention is by Lyn Christensen, with a relationship between the relationship between technology, people and women's empowerment. Starting from her father's experiences and his predictions: the cell phone event, on his remote control, Lyn made predictions about this theme as support for indispensable projects for medicine and health, meteorology and food, safeguard of the environment. In all this context, you absolutely specify the importance of “mentoring” “Inspiration” and of helping people to get there: Ask for it! and finally take baby steps!

From the following discussion with other experts, a great principle emerged which sees the importance and necessity of technology in the field of environmental sustainability.

In the afternoon the intervention of Emerine Kabanski, Ministry of Zambia and finally the greetings of the founder, who conveys the belief that women contribute, with their will and with simplicity and great determination, to the growth of a society rich in morality.

In addition, 4 special prizes were awarded: Laura Masi sport prize, Patrizia Rutigliano communication prize, Gianna Martinengo technology prize, Marcella De Salvo, association prize.

The event was accompanied by a song entitled "To disturb” in the voice of Ilaria Cingali, a young Palermo girl “pupil” of Progetto Donne e Futuro.
