Professionals with cash: in May the bonus rises to 1.000 euros

There is no difference between the professionals enrolled in INPS and those enrolled in the various professional orders. In May the bonus will rise to 1.000 euros also for the latter. This was clarified by the Minister of Economy, Roberto Gualtieri during the hearing on the relaunch decree held before the Budget commissions of the Chamber and Senate. Gualtieri, in addition to announcing the increase in the amount, escape the last doubts about possible exclusion from the audience of those who have already used the bonus for the month of March. On the other hand, the reassurances of the Minister of Labor, Nunzia Catalfo, had already arrived on the matter, who said a few days ago: "I want to clarify an important issue that involves around 500 workers: the 600 euro bonus for registered professionals to the private pension funds that have already received it in March, it will also be paid for the months of April and May”.

In summary: not only is the bonus valid for both April and May, but in May, its amount will rise from 600 to 1.000 also for professionals enrolled in private pension funds who suffered losses equal to at least 33% of their income in the second two months of 2020 compared to that of the second two months of 2019. The coverage is there: if in March the funds paid indemnity for 283 million, for the months of April and May they will have provision of an additional 850 million euros.

Gualtieri also underlined the enlargement of the audience “to many thousands of people that we had not previously had access” to the bonus. The reference is to the rule included in the relaunch decree which also allows access to the allowance to professionals registered with several funds, provided they do not hold a permanent contract. In practice, professionals who occasionally carry out teaching activities will also be able to receive the bonus. On the other hand, the rule that prohibits access to the bonus to pensioners has been confirmed.

As for the month of April instead, if autonomous and VAT numbers enrolled in the separate INPS management have already received the 600 euro bonus, the professionals enrolled in the various Orders will have to wait for the implementing decree che the Ministry of Labor and the Mef are preparing in these hours and which will assign the necessary resources to the coffers. According to the Economy Minister, the text should arrive "in the next few days".

“Four million workers yesterday received the payment of the second tranche of the 600 euro bonus for self-employed workers. Those who have remained in the queue for errors will be paid in the next few days. Then the bonus will be increased to a thousand euros and also includes professionals "Gualtieri clarified.

Returning to the professionals enrolled in private funds, it seems instead exclusion from the "grant grant" confirmed, another decision that caused quite a few controversies.

The minister then spoke of the problems relating to Redundancy fund: “We know that there have been some critical issues on the Cig, especially for the cash register notwithstanding the delays in some areas of the country; we have intervened in a very incisive way together with the conference of the Regions to streamline the procedures. I invite the Regions to make available the lists of companies for which layoffs have been authorized ”, he said.

Finally, referring to businesses, Gualtieri recalled that “the most important intervention is the cancellation of the 2019 balance and the first 2020 Irap installment, an important measure of support, the result of a dialogue with the productive world which has made a request that we have deemed right, albeit partially, to accept: it will concern all companies up to 250 million and represents a tax cut of 4 billion for about 2 million businesses".
