Prodi: "Now we need Mattarellum"
"We need a revisited Mattarellum: I think it's the only way to recreate a minimum relationship between voters and elected officials". Thus Romano Prodi, interviewed by Corriere della Sera, entered the debate that sees the future electoral system as the protagonist. The former prime minister, answering a question relating to the possible effects of the new electoral law on the 5 Star Movement, said: "no to a law against Grillo, it would risk doing him a favour".

Prodi, referring precisely to the M5S theme, declared: “What happened with Mps and Banca Etruria ends up helping populisms. People are now afraid and no longer trust credit”.
