First contacts between the government and EDF

Yesterday EDF number one Henri Proglio and the Minister of Economic Development Paolo Romani, who passed the Edison dossier on behalf of the government, made the first contact. A telephone conversation to clarify the Italian position while waiting for Rome to define his position. Edf continues to focus on the agreement that was reached with Edison's Italian shareholders in March and was blocked by the Minister of the Economy, Giulio Tremonti, at a time when French groups were seeing great activity in the peninsula, with the sale of Bulgari to Lvmh and Lactalis close to buying Parmalat.
