Petrol prices: green close to 2 euros per litre

The price of fuel continues to rise: petrol is now dangerously close to two euros per litre. According to the survey by Quotidiano Energia, the latest news on price increases are the maxi-increase of IP on gasoline (+4 cents) and the increase in the prices recommended by Eni (which in just over 15 days got its hands on the price lists, increasing prices by 3,8 cents for petrol and 2,4 cents for diesel) and from It (+1 cent on both products).

The prices charged in the area are therefore inevitably rising, with the national average exceeding 1,83 euros for petrol, while remaining close to 1,76 for diesel. The peaks see green cars costing over 1,93 euros in the Center and diesels close to 1,80. However, this situation does not yet fully reflect the latest increases and records the persistence of low margins for operators.

In detail, at a national level, the average price of petrol (in served mode) ranges from 1,818 euro/litre of Esso to 1,834 of IP (no-logo rising to 1,747). For diesel, the price ranges from 1,754 euros again for Esso to 1,759 for Shell (no-logo at 1,651). LPG is between 0,822 euros for Shell and 0,842 for IP (no-logo at 0,790).
