Petrol prices: the average is 1,795 euros per litre

Fuel prices in Italy continue to go against the trend of the international market, where petrol and diesel prices have resumed their upward run. No company has changed the recommended prices in our country, despite now in the Mediterranean for about three days the quotations have been rising, especially those of petrol, which since the beginning of the week have gained as much as 12 euros per thousand litres.

According to operators, this wait-and-see dynamic is a consequence of Eni's aggressive weekend hyperself campaign, which has brought competitors to their knees, forcing them to keep prices low even during working days, in the hope of attracting more customers.

National weighted averages of prices across serviced airlines this morning stood at 1,795 euros per liter for petrol and 1,688 euros per liter for diesel. Eni's LPG was stable at 0,739 euros per litre, while methane rose by a thousandth to 0,968 euros per kg.
