Secured loans up to 25 thousand euros: requests are underway

From today, Monday 20 April, the self-employed and small and medium-sized enterprises can ask the bank for i loans up to 25 thousand euros (or in any case within the limit of 25% of revenues) 100% covered by state guarantees through the Guarantee Fund for SMEs and central Mediocredito. The maximum duration of each credit is six years and, for the capital part, the money begins to be repaid after two years (pre-depreciation). In these cases, moreover, there is not even a creditworthiness assessment, therefore these are particularly attractive operations. And the risk is that bank branches will be stormed, in contravention of the anti-contagion measures imposed by the government.

THE BANKS' REQUEST: "DO NOT GO TO THE BRANCHES"

"Don't go to the branches - warns Antonio Patuelli, president of ABI, from the microphones of "Circo Massimo" on Radio Capital - requests for information and questions are made by phone and by mail. It's not that going to the branches you are given banknotes and there is no ranking of who arrives”.

STRONG ON SAFETY MEASURES

To defuse any tense situations, the Fabi banking union has activated a task force which monitors unpleasant episodes at the counters. In particular, the national secretariat has asked all union leaders and national coordinators to report abuses and offenses to the detriment of male and female workers.

"This is how we defeat the virus of violence" writes the secretary general of Fabi, Lando Maria Sileoni, underlining that the Minister of the Interior and the Prefects have ensured the highest level of presence and supervision on bank branches.

LOANS OVER 25 THOUSAND EUROS

For loans for amounts exceeding 25 euros, the creditworthiness assessment is envisaged and the guarantee scheme established by the liquidity decree is the following:

  • 90% for all loans to large companies;
  • 100% (90% of the State plus 10% of Confidi) for loans to businesses and the self-employed up to 800 thousand euros;
  • 90% up to 5 million.

THE ABI-SACE AGREEMENT

In this regard, one last technical step has been concluded in the last few hours. For loans to big business, in fact, the warranty is managed by Sace (controlled by Cdp), which found a agreement with the Italian Banking Association (ABI). “During the night, the guidelines for the platform were obtained – said the Minister of Public Administration, Fabiana Dadone, on Rtl 102.5 – It is a good result”.
