Prestitalia, a Ubi Group company active in the salary-backed loan market and payment delegation, approved the 2019 financial statements, closing a progressive growth in volumes that exceeded 750 million euros in gross amount disbursed.
”With a market share of around 10 percent, Prestitalia confirms that it is among the leading companies in salary-backed loans, a product destined to be increasingly chosen by customers as well as being considered by companies as a welfare solution for their employees”, says Cesare Colombi, general manager of Prestitalia.
“The positive results in 2019, despite the substantial provisions already made following the well-known Lexitor affair of the European Court of Justice, were obtained thanks to the organizational structure, strongly focused on the efficiency of the management of the salary-backed loan product and on the centrality of customers and distribution networks, but above all thanks to the strength of the sales channels: the UBI Banca branches and the largest network of financial agents in Italy”.
"Prestito 24 Srl, Prestiter Srl and Finet Group SpA are the top three agents for volumes disbursed in 2019", reads the company note which confirms the growth objectives for 2020. In the first two months of the year, Prestitalia recorded a load increase of 18,8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
