we receive e we publish the following press release issued by Hera Group.
The closing after the binding agreement last January
A reality at the service of the circular economy that is increasingly closer to businesses and even more focused on environmental protection: thepurchase by Herambiente Services industrial (controlled by Herambiente, in turn part of the Hera Group) of 70% of TRS Ecology of Caorso (PC), a company of 70 workers focused on the treatment and recovery of industrial waste, which currently has a fleet of approximately 2.700 customers. The closing follows the binding agreement signed by the parties on January 25th and was made possible upon the occurrence of all the conditions precedent envisaged in the preliminary phase.
Claudio Dodici at the helm of TRS Ecology
TRS Ecology is the newco where TRS Ecology (owned by the Dodici family) has transferred the business branch relating to the multifunctional platform for the treatment of special waste located in Caorso (PC) under the leadership of which, in the role of CEO, he will be Claudio Twelve.
The industrial and economic rationales of the operation
THEaggregation in Herambiente is based on two relevant rationales. First of all, it offers TRS customers (mainly located in the provinces of Piacenza, Lodi, Cremona, Brescia and Parma) additional opportunity in the treatment and recovery of its industrial waste, which will be able to find access to the network of around 100 Herambiente plants, by far the largest in the country. Furthermore, the TRS Ecology platform will allow Herambiente Servizi Industriali to further broaden the geographical spectrum of its services to western Emilia, lower Piedmont and Lombardy (including the Milan area), thanks also to important technical and commercial synergies with other plant solutions and Group companies.
Investment in the name of sustainability in the Caorso platform
It will be the new corporate structure to govern the important evolution that will affect the Caorso platform in the coming months. In fact, storage spaces will be optimized and reorganized and new treatment lines will be introduced aimed at increasing the opportunities for recovery and production of secondary raw materials from incoming waste. The intervention, which should be completed by the end of 2027, will see the use of innovative technologies also aimed at further improving the environmental protection and safety profiles for workers, in line with European best practices.
Ramonda: "in TRS skills in line with our standards and the same entrepreneurial vision"
“This aggregation creates further value for all Herambiente stakeholders,” he explains Andrea ramonda, CEO Herambiente. “On the one hand, because it allows us to broaden our scope of action, on the other because in TRS we have found not only distinctive skills fully in line with our standards, but also the same entrepreneurial sensitivity, oriented towards seeing industrial waste as an essential lever for the full implementation of the circular economy”.
Dodici: “entry into the Hera Group marks a new beginning for TRS”
“The entry into the Hera Group marks a new beginning for TRS, which focuses above all on development,” he states Claudio Twelve, CEO of TRS Ecology. “The unique know-how in Italy and the financial solidity of the Hera Group will be real growth accelerators, which will find an initial field of application in the project for the renewal of the Caorso platform, which when fully operational will also have a significant employment impact for the territory, both in terms of related industries and direct hiring, equal to approximately 30% more than the current 70 employees".
