Understanding St. Paul ha signed with all the Unions un agreement aimed at strengthening the role of the training as a pillar of the bank of the future and a priority tool to ensure engagement and the responsibility pact with the Group's people and increase their satisfaction, promoting the development of skills, employability and professional growth. Training is an enabling factor to continue the path of digitization e innovation tecnologica aimed at improving customer service and internal processes.

La new training offer will be divided into three strands:

  • enabling training, essential for carrying out a profession and aimed at all the people in the Group;
  • job training, on technical topics and to strengthen the soft skills required in the workplace, with particular focus on professional figures of the Banca dei Territori Division Network;
  • transformative training, ensured by the new Corporate Academy, dedicated to strengthening the skills needed to accompany digital transformation and guarantee continuous updating over time.

Among these training areas one of the programs considered a priority is the “Omnichannel Program” aimed at Private Managers of the Banca dei Territori Division Network. Thanks to continuous paths of upskilling e reskilling, personalized and innovative, adapted to new organizational processes and with high added value content on transformative issues and strategic areas such as AI, data, ESG, internationalization, the training will allow us to accompany the Group's people through change with the acquisition of the required professional skills but also towards new professions.

Union agreement for well-being and integrated welfare

Intesa Sanpaolo has also shared with the Trade Unions a path to promote health e prevention to improve the working environment and psychophysical well-being through new “integrated welfare” tools. In particular, taking into account the changes that digital transformation induces in the way of working, with the increasingly widespread use of video terminals, the knowledge obtained through health surveillance will be exploited, which will be extended, in a first phase to approximately 8.000 people who work in the branch (in addition to the 26.000 governance people already included), to prepare initiatives aimed at intervening on issues considered priority such as cardiovascular risks and sleep disorders.
