howden, a leading global insurance broker in Italy with 850 people in 26 offices, is evaluating new acquisitions in the Northeast. The CEO of Howden Italia said, Federico Casini, on the occasion of the inauguration in Villorba (Treviso), of the new headquarters that brings together at a management and operational level the strong presence in the territory in the provinces of Treviso, Belluno and Venice. Casini, indicating the new objectives, confirmed the strategy of further growth in the Triveneto also through external lines.
Visiting the new offices in Treviso Guests were able to “discover” the new large spaces – over 1.000 square meters – organized to facilitate operations, teamwork and customer relations: open spaces, highly digitalized meeting rooms to facilitate the transmission of the know-how of Howden's international specialists connected from various locations around the world, representative environments to receive customers in maximum comfort.
“For Howden Italia – stated Casini – the Veneto is an absolutely fundamental entrepreneurial reality. The acquisitions we have made in this area, and in particular in Treviso, had a strategic objective for the importance of the Northeast business system in the national economy. The results are positive, we will continue on the path of strengthening our presence in these provinces”.
As a broker Howden Italia assists companies, but also public bodies and associations, both for traditional insurance coverage, such as civil liability or fire, and for coverage of "new" risks such as credit, cybersecurity and catastrophic events. It also provides companies with welfare services, such as health, life or accident insurance for employees, a sector in which Howden Italia is very present.
howden has 18.600 customers in Veneto with a turnover of 16,9 million euros (20,2 million in the North East including Pordenone) and 125 employees (150 in the North East with Pordenone). In Treviso 34 people work between employees and collaborators, in the whole Veneto Howden Italia employees are 125, with a strong and historic presence also in Verona. Responsible for the activities in the new single office will continue to be Ugo Furlan and Roberto Brunetta.
