Sagitta is born, consortium to promote distinctive digital solutions in the transport and logistics sector at an international level and initiatives at a national level capable of accelerating the creation of digital infrastructures to support strategic sectors for the Country System.

Formed by the Italian Digital Innovation Group Almaviva and from FS Group, a national and international multimodal mobility player, the Consortium follows up on the agreement signed a year ago between the same parties.

Sagitta aims to establish itself in global markets of joint interest, including Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa and India, digital solutions for the mobility of the future, such as Traffic Planning & Management, Transport Planning & Management, Digital Twin & State Health Monitoring Infrastructure, Multimodal Integrate Mobility (including Mobility As a Service – MaaS), Ticketing, Infomobility.

In Italy, the Consortium will promote projects to support strategic sectors for the Country System, aimed at the creation and management of digital platforms of national importance at the service of sustainable mobility, tourism, monitoring of transport infrastructures and intermodal logistics.

Sagitta will allow the FS Group to consolidate its role in exporting the excellence of Made in Italy abroad in the transport sector, to accelerate the development of digital platforms that can promote more efficient, effective and sustainable ways of transporting people and goods for the benefit of the community.

Almaviva, through the Consortium that enhances the consolidated collaboration with the FS Group, aims to accelerate its internationalization goal exporting advanced and distinctive Italian technology, namely the platform Moova for integrated mobility, to promote sustainable transport methods, tourism, infrastructure monitoring (railways and roads), intermodal logistics and more functional services for travellers.

He was appointed as President of the Consortium Francesco DeLeo, Chief Global Strategy & International Officer Gruppo FS, and as Managing Director Florentine Emerald, Deputy CEO Transportation & Logistics Division Almaviva.
